The purpose of the pension rights adjustment
The pension adjustment law in Germany is to ensure that the rights to future retirement and invalidity pensions (pension) of each spouse earned during the marriage for both spouses are distributed and assigned in the divorce that both spouses receive an equal increase of pension rights earned during the marriage.
